I'm noticing a significant difference., 5 May 2016

I read an article recently by the beauty editor of one of the broadsheets praising this product, so I was keen to try it. I don’t have Keratosis Pilaris but I do have persistent dry patches of skin on my body that drives me mad trying to eradicate them. I have had good results for some time, using a facial exfoliating cleanser containing AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid), so I was hoping that this polish would be just as effective on my body.

I like the actual size and shape of this flip-top tube – it’s easy and comfortable to handle in the shower – and the scent of the polish is discrete, but really lovely. The granules are actually less gritty than the ones in my facial lotion, so they showered off much more quickly and didn’t leave any residue on my skin - which is important if you are in a hurry.

I’ve used this body polish five times now and I am noticing a difference. My skin has felt softer and the dry patches were less rough each...

I must confess that I have tried this product, already a converted fan of the Body Lotion from the same company, which I discovered last year when googling KP, otherwise known as 'Chicken Skin', which I have sufferred with all my life and a friend told me what it was when I was complaining about it and when something has a name you suddenly feel empowered to do something about it!

The original body lotion is amazing and has already significantly reduced the bumps and redness of my KP, but this body polish is a fantastic accompaniment, as it exfoliates my skin, but not roughly leaving it red raw like some other polishes. This is applied, interestingly, to dry skin, rubbed in and then left for a few minutes to allow the AHA to do its stuff and then you rinse it off. My skin feels softer and smoother than it did before and compared to last year, it is a massive improvement. Whilst I know that I can never be cured of my chicken skin, I can at least do something to lessen it and...

I was blessed with pretty much perfect skin until taking seriously ill in 2013 and getting my first ever florid eczematous rash as a side problem. While it abated thankfully quite quickly, I found my skin had become incredibly dry since and I've lost count of the times I've almost shredded my legs with scratching. Those who advocate "Don't scratch" have obviously never suffered from the intensity of itch dry skin can actually cause at times,

So after years of not getting anywhere with a multitude of creams both generic & prescribed I was keen to see if this one might actually live up to its claims. And surprisingly (ever the sceptic!!) it DOES!!! Oh the bliss - 2 weeks and counting without an itch ONCE!! Go figure. I'm still truly surprised.
