Where can I use the Beurer IPL 9000 SalonPro System?

Since IPL 9000 has been designed for optimum safety, it is suitable to use almost anywhere on the body, including the arms, legs, underarms, bikini line and face. The only areas to avoid are particularly intimate or sensitive areas such as the nipples or genitals.

Should I choose the Beurer IPL 9000 or the Beurer IPL 10000?

Both Beurer IPL SalonPro Systems are identical in quality, technology and safety. The only difference is the quantity of flashes available on the light cartridges.

The IPL 9000's light cartridge provides 15,000 flashes. This will provide regular treatment for 2 to 4 years, after which time the cartridge will need replacing.

The IPL 10000's light cartridge provides 150,000 flashes, which is regarded as enough to last a lifetime; the cartridge will not need replacing and provides regular treatment for 20 to 40 years.

Please note: Beurer IPL SalonPro System is NOT suitable for dark skin types. It should NOT be used on tattooed areas. It is NOT suitable for people with blood clotting disorders, diabetes, epilepsy, light sensitivity conditions, or dermatological conditions such as psoriasis.

Best for large areas (legs etc.) not so easy for face, 2 July 2014

It really does make a difference having the XXL area for the application of light via the wand (or whatever you'd call it!) I've used other IPL devices and it's certainly bigger and easier for quick coverage of areas such as your legs or arms. It's nice and easy to use and has a reasonable length cord if you need to reach a mirror for whatever reason - but be careful not to look at the light as it's BRIGHT!

The pain is hard to judge compared with other IPL devices but I would say from past memory of using other ones it might be slightly more painful (probably due to the fact that it's covering more skin each time it flashes). However, the pain is still less than that of waxing. It's a sharp sort of sensation but the pain does not last.

I think this might be particularly appealing to men who want coverage of areas such their chest or back.

It's not so easy to use on your face i.e. upper lip, due to the fact that the wand is really chunky and not easy to...

A MUST HAVE PURCHASE FOR UNSIGHTLY HAIR REMOVAL!!!, 17 July 2014

A Totally dream product. I had been reading about this new hair removal system for a long while and even tried a session in the local salon at a costly price. As the salons only tackle a small area at a time, you are left waiting for a new appointment, taking time out of a busy life to allow yourself a pampering session. However, to have the luxury of the system in a neat home manageable product is nothing short of incredible.

The Beurer IPL 9000 SalonPro system does exactly what it says on the box. I have tried it now over the last 4 weeks, following the easy-to-digest instructions to the letter. - What can I say? IT WORKS! No pain obvioulsy as it is based on a light-pulsing system. I have noticed a subsequent real reduction in new growth already - after 3 sessions. It can be used on all areas on the body, incluing intimate and facial hair, there are no side effects (as there are no chemicals involved). I managed to do the whole body in half an hour (taking my time) on my...

If you can afford it go for the 10000, 24 July 2014
Anyway, as per subject if you can afford it get the 10000 rather than the 9000, that is meant to last a lifetime, this one has an estimated lifetime of 4 - 7 years depending on where you use (size of area) and how often you use it. For smaller areas on a less hirsute person this will be fine!
