Not what I was expecting at all! Very disappointed and would not buy again. The scent is unpleasant, not even vaguely lavender, the texture of the cream is like lard and it doesn’t rub in easily. Champneys should sample Lush’s lavender body lotion, that’s how it should feel and smell.

I found the 'butter' took a long time to absorb into my skin but I expect this will be nice to use in the summer months as it left my skin feeling cool. Once absorbed, my skin feels lovely and soft. I'm not over keen on the fragrance as it's the same as the shower gel in this range which I didn't like the smell of but the body butter is a more gentle fragrance and doesn't smell as bad and is quite pleasant and does remind me of Spas.
