These nail clippers arrived quickly and well packaged. The packaging the actual clippers are encased in is a typical cardboard and form pressed plastic affair which was not too difficult to open. The English instructions and blurb is a bit hit and miss, no doubt google translated from the Chinese. The clippers themselves are a sturdy stainless steel but I was a bit disappointed to find they had no closing mechanism and being two springs that work together, which without doubt makes for a strong cutting action, also means that other than the loose rubber tip (which is bound to get lost or mislaid sooner or later) to hold the blades together, they are permanently 'sprung' ready to spring into action which could be a bit dangerous given how sharp they are. They compare well to other clippers, which always seem to go missing in our household, which is why it is nice to have more than one pair, but I am not sure they are worth their current price of nearly ten pounds. These chooling toe nail clippers are a really good heavy and strong set to have, they are bigger than the ones I have had in the past which I find makes them easier to hold which is especially good as I have limitations due to several health problems so that is an added bonus for me and as they are bigger they need less pressure to get them to cut efficiently. There are cross cross indented markings on the handles which improves the grip and stops them from slipping about in your hands, another good thing for me as I quite easily drop things and they have a handy plasticky rubber cap to cover the ends which protects them from damage and also protects the owner or user from injury. I have had these before with some kind of mechanism that keeps the blades together and while that is great I also find that they always end up breaking, at least with this set you get the plasticky rubber cap which is moulded to the toe nail clippers shape so it fits perfectly on the end.

I purchased these nail clippers for my Mother, as she has extremely strong nails and usual nail clippers just don’t suffice! These heavy duty nail clippers are just perfect!
