I bought the small one and I'm glad I did as it's the perfect size. I don't have many brushes I use on a daily basis so this was tall and wide enough to accommodate my 6 brushes. The pearls provided were sufficient to get them all standing as well. The whole thing feels very sturdy and has small rubber feet at the bottom to stop it from slipping. The material is thick and lid is heavy but can be opened all the way back to stay open.
