I ordered 2 pairs of glasses from an online store which were great but the arms on them were pretty straight and needed to come down more behind my ears to avoid falling off when tilted my head.

I needed a solution that didn't require a trip to the opticians and at a reasonable cost.

These fitted the bill perfectly. Made of silicone they were grippy and held against the skin better than the glossy plastic arms of my glasses. They also formed required hook behind the ears to stop the frames from moving. They are small enough to tuck in behind the ears so they are almost unnoticeable and were comfortable to wear as they were very soft.

I was initially worried by comments about the entry holes being too small for wider temple arms. Fear not, the silicon is stretchy enough to fit over, a little encouragement maybe required. A good tip is to put some talc power inside the holes and on the temple arms before fitting. This helps the hooks to slide for...

Very happy - they work!, 7 Nov. 2014

I have just received my order and after a little struggle fitted the first pair (just make sure you are holding the arm of your glasses firmly so that you don't harm the glasses). They are just the job. I previously bought a set of shorter hooks from a different supplier and that was a big mistake. The shorter hooks dug into my ears and made them impossible to wear and only 3 pairs were supplied for almost the same price. I took a chance and ordered these in the hope that they will do what I needed. I am very pleased that I did.

My glasses are varifocals and so it is important that they stay in place and mine didn't, they were always slipping down my nose, driving me mad or worse still, when I looked down, they might fall off altogether. It seems that if your glasses are remotely fashionable the nose piece is minimal and therefore using the adhesive pads for extra grip is out of the question and so hooks seem to be the only answer. I bought these as my glasses were really annoying me by constantly sliding down my nose. The ear hooks were really cheap so I purchased these with little hope that they would work, how wrong was I they are absolutely brilliant soon as I put them on my glasses problem solved.I totally recommend this product slipping glasses a thing of the past
