Garnier Skin Natural Micellar Extra-Gentle Cleansing Wipes, 7 Jan. 2016

I don't tend to use cleansing wipes a great deal unless I'm either travelling or too tired/overwrought to remove my make-up at the end of the day. These ultra-soft Micellar Extra-Gentle Cleansing Wipes were heavily impregnated with Garnier's patented Micellar Water, a product which has been lauded on major beauty websites for a while now. There were 25 wipes in the pack (aren't there usually 40 in most packs of wipes?) and they were indeed thick and soft.So - were they effective in regard to 'removing even waterproof make-up' - well, let's just say that I attempted to remove the make-up I'd applied this morning which had melted somewhat in the rain and the wipe shifted everything with the exception of the eyeliner - even a heavier pressure didn't remove it. I often find that this is the way. My skin, however, did feel very smooth afterwards and didn't sting.In conclusion: rather pricey for a pack of only 25 wipes. They felt nice and substantial though.

There are so many Cleansing Wipes now to choose from in the shops, it is sometimes difficult to know which to buy! So, let's take a look at these Micellar Cleansing Wipes from the well known and long standing brand of Garnier.

• Ist Impressions are of a pretty pink, no-nonsense pack with the usual pull back tab.

• The pack has a list of ingredients printed on it for those who have to be careful about what they use on their skin, in case of an allergic reaction. Also printed on the pack, is the target market that the product is aimed at, as well as usage advice.

In use:-

• These Cleansing Wipes are a nice thickness, they are strong and measure 7½ inches x 7 inches which is a good size.

• The texture of the wipes is EXTREMELY gentle, there is nothing that is going to hurt your delicate facial skin, but they are still stron in use..

Excellent for those of us with chemical allergies and all round sensitive skin, 2 Jan. 2016

I had hoped to find a cleansing wipe that really did not have any perfume added.These wipes are as gentle as they claim to be.After using them my skin felt clean and refreshed.I also tested out on a nearby friend and I was very impressed by how much better their skin looked too.These are gentle and effective. I don't wear make-up because of allergies but I would trust these to do the job because of how clean my skin felt afterwards.Apparently micellar water has been used in France for years as a premium face care tool.It is gentle and effective and you don't need to rinse it off or wipe it off.It is considered excellent for sensitive skin.
