Good quality UV paints. Great idea for New Year celebrations!, 1 Dec. 2015

Being a clubber at heart I love my collection of UV t-shirts and jewellery – these body paints will allow me to take this to the next level.

I plan to use them when I go out to celebrate New Year but have had a quick look at them now.

You get six good-sized 10ml tubes in orange, pink, purple, yellow, blue and green. They are all in clear tubes so you can not only see the colour, but also how much of each paint is left. They all have black screw tops.

I have a mini UV torch at home so painted a bit of the orange paint onto my hand and shined the light over it in a dark room so see what effect it had – the paint glowed brilliantly under the UV light. In daylight they simply look like brightly coloured paints.

They are not supplied with any kind of brush which would have been good – this is the reason I am giving four stars rather than 5 as, although you can apply with your finger this is quite messy and inaccurate so I would definitely use a...

Great effects, 26 Nov. 2015

Glow in the dark face and body paints always seem like a good idea...they're fun interesting and look amazing in pictures.My daughter(15) is using them for a colour photoshoot for her photography GCSEs and on a test run they come up very nicely on camera.At first, She thought they wouldn't work and that they would be a disappointment but when I shone the UV light over the paints, they looked amazing!On the downside,they are a little watery when you apply them, this makes the product go on quite thin and it doesn't glow as bright as when there is a lot of paint. However even though they don't glow as much, it adds depth to the face paint and makes it look more real.Please note I received this product free or at a reduced price in exchange for an honest review

Nice, thick paints, with a nice UV twist, 26 Nov. 2015

My six year old son is finally coming around to the idea of face painting, and these UV ones really are a rather nice twist on the traditional face paint.The UV really does work and and the paint goes on reasonably thick (they are tubes of paint rather than a palette of water based ones) The individual tubes are sealed, so you know they won't dry out. My son has relatively sensitive skin, but we've had no adverse reactions to using this, despite plastering it on liberally.Remember - UV doesn't mean 'glow in the dark' necessarily, so make sure you have a UV source or light to in order to admire your handiwork. I took them along to a children's party at a Bowling alley, where there are UV lights a-plenty and they were a complete hit!
