I had a quick look through the reviews before having the opportunity to see and try this bag out for myself. I was expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised. I must add that I am not a hairdresser, just a woman with lots of hair equipment - curling tongs, hair dryer, GHD, straightening brushes, bendy rollers, etc. I ordinarily stored them in a fold-up box, but that was getting tatty so I was eager to see what this had to offer.
You will see from the photos that it is multi-compartmented. It has one main compartment where I placed my GHD, hair dryer, curling tongs, etc and side compartment for scissors, etc. Not being a hairdresser, I am uncertain if the side compartments have the necessary pockets etc for the tools of your trade - they do have four sections to put scissors. The bag came in a grey plastic bag and was neatly folded. The bag is made of a nice sturdy fabric that feels like it will cope well with everyday use and being carried around. On the front of the bag there is a small zipped compartment, useful for keeping things like hair ties or nail files. On the back of the bag there is an open pocket useful for slipping in business cards or a pen etc . On the sides of the bag there are plastic triangles so you can attach the padded shoulder strap that comes inside the bag.
The interior of the bag is lined in a different material. The lid of the bag opens up to reveal many pockets and elastic straps to hold tools and accessories. There are 15 pockets inside the bag all varying in size, there is also 11 plastic straps to secure things to the edge of the bag. In the centre of the bag there is plenty of space for larger items that don’t fit in the pockets or straps.

Handy bag. I wish the listing stated what the material was exactly, but it feels tough and sturdy and is easy to wipe clean - some sort of toughened vinyl perhaps? Ideal for carrying hairdressing tools or kids stuff in - I think it would be great for baby supplies or pet supplies too. It has a large, main compartment with a zip around the top, and then a decent sized side compartment which contains clips for scissors, and a netted end compartment. I did read some of the other reviews before purchasing, and a bone of contention seems to be size, and I do think that it's probably too small to be used for professional hairdressing. I can fit my hairdryer and my tongs in there, as well as scissors, but the amount of tools my hairdresser actually owns is pretty extensive, and her bag is double this size. So just have a measure first and see if it suits your needs - I think it will be ideal for me for an overnight stay for example. It is 11.5 inches tall, 14 inches long and 7.5 inches deep...
