It's velvety, but gives a dewy finish and really suits my oily skin. Doesn't cake at all. I have spent years looking for a nice powder for my skin type and I am so glad I found this. Will be stocking up! :)

Agree with other reviewers. I've been trying many different brands and types over the years, and this one definitely comes out on top! Although I'm way out of my teen years I still get oily skin. I work 10hr days now so I need something that lasts! Before this job I'd be constantly checking/re-applying power because of shine (with previous powders), which isn't even a possibility any more. On the odd occasion I can check though, it may only need a touch up, nothing more! I use this with Estee Lauder's double wear foundation. Which, although pricey, I cannot recommend highly enough!

I have this powder on subscription from Amazon so I know I'll never run out! It doesn't cake whatsoever, which I've noticed to be a common feature of some of the past 'oil control' foundations, concealers and powders I've used. Possibly a little chalky if you put too much on, especially around the nose area. It has good coverage too, and it lasts. I'd get through probably 2 Rimmel Stay Matte...

Good at keeping oil at bay, 13 Jan. 2016

I keep this in my hand bag and use the sponge that comes in the compact to dab my face with the powder when I'm feeling oily. It does the job perfectly and no oil gets through for the rest of the day. I find that this product lasts a long time because it really lasts on the skin.
