Excellent cleanser - works quickly and well plus it feels like a high end spa product - Love it!, 6 Nov. 2015

I have to say that what attracted me to this was the word - melting - based on that I thought I had to give it a go and I'm really glad I did.

This is a 100ml tube of cleanser and the idea is that when you first squeeze cleanser onto dry fingers it's like a cleansing mud - I can't really think of any other word to describe it. I then rub my finger tips together and massage it onto my face. The heat of your skin and your finger tips makes the mud melt - it also melts any make up you have on. This is followed by either rinsing off the cleanser with warm water or wiping it off with hot damp towels. Personally I go for the water rinse every time. At this point the cleanser has changed into a milk and is easily rinsed off, leaving skin feeling clean and refreshed.

The cleanser is suitable for all skin types and Merumaya say that anti-aging properties are included to help prevent fine line development, wrinkles, dry skin, dark circles etc. Time will obviously...

Luxurious cleanser that smells gorgeous - now I looking forward to washing my face!, 1 Nov. 2015

OVERVIEW - Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm 100 ml

This cleanser is part of the Merumaya range, which launched a little over 2 years ago, aimed at preventing skin ageing and reducing the signs of ageing. It is suitable for all skin types and ages. The headline ingredients are sweet almond oil, echium seed oil, mangosteen extract and the Merumaya 'Signature Essence Blend'. This is a luxurious cleanser that feels lovely to use with a hot face cloth. Leaves my face clean and soft. The hot cloth and the most incredible aroma means I now look forward to washing my face.

IN USE

This is a luxurious cleanser I really enjoy using. It's for when you need to wash your face to remove make-up but I don't wear make-up often so mainly use it to cleanse my face. Remakably efficient!, 1 Nov. 2015

I have to confess, I bought this is rather a hasty moment. I had a list of products to choose from for free and the word "Melting" leapt out at me. It was only when I received the product it dawned on me that this is a cleanser aimed mostly at ladies who need to remove their makeup with maximum ease.

I still tried it of course. The idea is you rub it on to your dry face, it has a lotion texture, leave it for a minute of so it can work away at any makeup and then rinse with warm water. At this point the lotion turns to a milky wash and rinses off along with any makeup and/or impurities.

The smell was quite pleasant and it left my skin feeling smooth and washed.

Fortunately, I was able to hand this over to my girlfriend who, as luck would have it, was off to a Halloween in full facepaint makeover mode that very evening. Surely there could be no greater test of this product's effectiveness?

When she returned, she applied the lotion as above...
