Extremely longlasting, needs an oil-based remover at the end of the day. Cheaper version of identical Revlon item., 13 Dec. 2015

This product certainly lasts and lasts. It's pretty much identical in performance to the much more upmarket and expensive Revlon version, at a budget price. I got the Quartz Star Rose Quartz shade, colour 110, which in the bottle, looks like a burnished copper, but which is far, far lighter when on.

The colour is a mix of nude pink with a hint of brown glitter and goes on with a sponge applicator, and you have to let it dry for about 2 minutes so that it forms a seal on your lips. Then, you use the other clear gloss side of the lippie to add sheen to the colour - this can also be used as a clear gloss. You could leave off the gloss part, but, it does make your lips rather stiff and dry, but at the same time, it gives a decent matte look (there are arrows to tell you which side to use first).

The lipstick lasts through food and drink, and only something with a bit of grease touching your lips would be enough to move the colour, and even then, it'd move the colour...

Lovely Lips :-), 20 Dec. 2015

Maybelline New York is the world’s largest cosmetics brand and is on sale in over 129 countries worldwide. It’s been my favourite makeup brand since 2000.

Originally the Maybelline Company was created by a 19-year-old entrepreneur named Tom Lyle Williams in 1915. In 1967 the company was sold by Williams to Plough, Inc, it was sold on in 1990 it was sold to an investment firm called Wasserstein Perella & Co.

Then in 1996 it was sold to L'Oréal, which was the first cosmetic firm I started using back in the 1990’s.

With having allergies I also stay with the brands I know so I don’t get reactions, (like I’ve had in the past with store own brands).

So when I was asked if I’d like to review their Maybelline SuperStay 24 Hour Lipstick Rose Quartz, I was delighted to accept.

Now with having natural light blonde hair, blue eyes and skin that’s extremely pale I normally wear very pale pink lipstick...

This Maybeline 24hr super stay lipstick is a fantastic item, 23 Dec. 2015
This Maybeline 24hr super stay lipstick is a fantastic item, the colour is quite pale and therefore would suit most people. The lipstick come in two parts, a lipstick and a lip balm. The lipstick is first applied and aloud to completely dry, then you apply the lip balm. The product doesn't have a smell and feels smooth when applied to the lips. I found that the lipstick felt quite drying on the lips and really needed the lip balm applied to moisten the lips and make them feel moisturised. Maybeline claim the Super stay lip stick will last 24hr.I have applied the lipstick and kept it on for 12hr with no loss of colour, but as I always remove my make-up before bed I can't say for defiant that the lipstick would last the whole 24hr, but there again I have no reason to doubt this claim. If you your looking for a nice lipstick with staying power , then this Maybeline lipstick will suit your needs. It's five stars from me folks .
