Seriously good product, very effective - READ THIS IF YOU ARE UNSURE, 5 Feb. 2014

so basically I wanted this as a present for my GF for Xmas, and after reading up on the internet about different types and about how noisy they are etc etc - I opted to spend a little extra and buy this one ,

Short but sweet here are the details ---

1. Not very noisy, have owned another and sounded like a loud vaccum cleaner, this still omits noise, but you dont have to shout to communcate with eachother and it is pretty quiet.

2. Remote is great but does need to be in direct line of site of unit - no bending round corners

3. It does have a 2-PIN PLUG!!! and you do get some wierd adaptor to make it UK plug, not sure how though as it doesnt fit so went out and got a circular 2 point plug adapter from local superstore (same as we use to charge toothbrushes and razor) and use the normal UK plug sockets with the bought adaptor, - I USE this with a surge protected extension lead for safety,

4. The preset speeds are great, and the heated bubbles are warm-ish...

Having read all the other reviews I bought this confidently, and so far it has lived up to expectations - the unit I think is reasonably noisy, although as it has to be kept outside the bathroom for safety, closing the door sorts out the noise issues. BUT the remote control will only work with line of sight - so, if you need to adjust the settings, then the door has to be opened again. Another slight issue for us is that this was bought to be used in a doubled ended bath and the air hose fastens into one end of the mat - so the person sitting at that end ends up with the hose. However, drawing it forwards a bit solves that problem. I agree with other reviewers in that this version is very powerful - even the low setting produces quite a vigorous bubbling - so people with delicate skin (e.g. elderly) might find it a little too much. But the therapeutic benefits of this are clear and it is easily much better than my ancient Babyliss spa. I confirm also that it does still come with...

Exceptional Product for its Price, 8 May 2015

I have been buying on Amazon for years BUT never have posted a review till today

I will try to be objective and have written this after a couple of months of trying and putting the product through its paces

First of all i am an NHS medic so very skeptical of putting my name down to something till i DO NOT believe in it
