I have very fine hair which is thinning due to thyroid issues (getting better though!). I got this hoping to create a more volumised look to a messy side bun look I want for an upcoming black tie event. Usually I wouldn't be brave enough to attempt an up-do like that myself but the event is on a Sunday, hairdressers all closed, so it's DIY. For this price and based on the good reviews I figured I would give these a go.

I ordered 2 colours, the 10A Medium Brown (shown in the pictures) and another one called Brunette. They are almost identical in colour but the Brunette isn't the same style at all, it's much shorter and curlier. I am going to return it.

If you have a look at the pictures you can see the Medium Brown is not a bad match for my hair at all. Slightly lighter than my own hair but hair tends to be naturally lighter at the ends anyway. The scrunchie is a more 'flat' colour in that it doesn't have the natural tones and highlights of natural hair but I wouldn't say...

Versatile Scrunchie and easy to style, 8 Aug. 2016

I brought this scrunchy especially to wear at an evening dress event. I wanted to wear my hair up, but my hair isnt very long and doesnt look much when it is up. So I thought this may do the job. I looked at the colours I could choose in hope my computer screen and the picture was true to the colour, and when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find it matched my hair colour perfectly. To start with when I experimented with it I wasnt sure which was the best way to use it, but after a few aborted attempts, I finally found a way and I was very pleased with the result. No one knew it was false and I felt very pleased with it, and more importantly felt confident to wear it. I found the best way for me to wear it was to put my own hair in a pony tail and wind my hair in a knot, then I combed the scrunchie first in one direction downwards and laid it over my pony tail and pinned it in place in three places. Fantastic for those days where you just can't be bothered doing your hair !!!! ???? just tie your hair in a bun stick it over it and secure way a couple of Kirbys X. My own daughter did not even notice . She actually said your hair is lovely today lol ?????????? highly recommend will buy of this seller again ????
