Difficult to use, 23 Feb. 2014

The Remington Big Style looks like a great product. It is slick and light and comes with enough attachments to create a variety of looks. It arrives boxed up in its own clear purple trimmed bag which looks stylish and is handy to store.

I have medium length hair which is very thick and straight so I love anything that can give me a bit of volume, bounce and curl.

I dried my hair with the Concentrator first which did take a while as there isn't a lot of power - you could get away with this if you were traveling and didn't want to take a hairdryer but for every day it would be quite time consuming.

The Bristle Brush is probably my favourite part of this product. it did add height and volume and would give you an easy and quick blow-dried look without having to manage hairdryer and brush at the same time.

The curlers on the other hand are a different story. I would highly recommend watching the video before attempting this (or even buying). You...

Like it....but took a while to get used to, 30 Mar. 2014

Was really pleased to receive this item as it looked like a total hair solution; dryer, styler and rollers for added lift all in one, nicely packaged - the ultimate solution.It comes with 15 velcro rollers in 3 different sizes and you roll them on using the styling wand, give them a couple of blasts with the hairdryer, unclip the wand and leave in place to cool. In reality the first couple of times I used it I found it quite awkward to use and ended up with arm ache. I also found that I loosened the rollers when removing the wand. On the plus side the 50mm bristle brush attachment is really good for tidying up afterwards.Definitely takes a bit of getting used to and thankfully more recent results are much better, there's definitely a knack to using this.

Attractive, but awkward to use, 27 Mar. 2014

I was initially very excited at receiving this product after several years of combining hair dryers with rotating hot brushes daily, with heated rollers for a special occasion.

The presentation is good. The product comes in an attractive purple soft case with a heat resist layer on top so that the product can be put away straight after use. The instructions seemed clear but one glaringly obvious design fault was becoming apparent – it does not rotate!

After semi drying my shoulder-length fine hair using the concentrator, which took a while as the product is not powerful, I was ready to start. I found the big style very fiddly to use. You have to have the roller ready on the wand (which I kept forgetting to do after sectioning my next strand of hair) and then attempt to roll the device onto your hair. I find this tricky enough with a heated roller, but it is made more cumbersome by the added length of the device attached to the roller. While your arm...
