Didn't work on my hair which is fairly long (below bra strap) and fairly thick and usually holds style well, could be because I'm a curling amateur but I tried for a week to get it to work on my hair and it just didn't go well for me. I achieved better and more long lasting curls with my straighteners, may work for you

Do not recommend these curling tongs at all, 2 Dec. 2015
Do not recommend these curling tongs at all, they do not form a curl even on the hottest heat, just leave a kink where the clamp goes. The 'heat proof mat' that comes with the product is also rubbish. Only good thing was the delivery, they arrived very quickly after ordering.

Waste of money, 24 Dec. 2015
Not great for my thick shoulder length hair. Doesn't have any effect at all, not even a wave and that was with leaving it on longer than the recommended 5-8 seconds! It may be great for fine shorter hair but useless for me.
