I bought this for myself as a treat. I was a bit puzzled as to how useful it would be, but it does indeed make for a better, smoother shave. A word of warning though, before applying the oil, make sure you have already prepared all the other paraphernalia that you need. So ensure your blade is ready and shaving cream easy to get at. If you put the oil on first you will find the act of putting a new blade on a razor quite tricky.Smells good too.

It smells great and definitely helps to rub it into the skin pre-shave.It is however quite expensive for the size of the bottle you get.Delivery was also quick.

Great product (As per usual from Taylor of Old Bond Street). Good strong fragrance, nice consistency and a small drop rubbing into the shaving area after a hot towel and a few minutes before the soap and brush helped soften those coarser hairs and generally reduced irritation and gave the cut-throat extra "glide".
