I'm just as fuzzy as when I started!, 6 Jun. 2014

I was incredibly excited after I ordered this product as it was full of promise and I was so looking forward to being able to wax at home, rather than spend a decent amount of money on getting it done professionally. The packaging looks really good, and the appliance itself looked fab. I plugged it in, and waited for it to heat up.... And waited... And waited.... And waited.....

This thing seemed to take forever to heat up. It was to leave it for 20-30 minutes, but it was more like an hour for me. Even after this, the wax inside the cartridge was still a bit hard and didn't apply evenly. The roller worked well for application, but the wax was a massive let down. It didn't stick to the hairs, so when I ripped the strips off, absolutely nothing came off.

The wax came off in chunks and got everywhere. The roller was getting stuck because of the wax clogging it up and drying up.

This product was unusable, and so it was returned.

I wouldn't recommend this product to...

Leaves legs soft and hairless, 20 April 2015
Bought this kit after not being happy with my usual waxing at a salon and am extremely happy with the results. It does take longer to heat up than stated but I plugged it in and went off to do house work. Once it had heated up I found it extremely easy to apply and use. Doing the back of your legs is a little difficult and I got through 5 strips in one go but it is still better and cheaper than the cost at a salon and you are in control and leaves your legs very soft and hair free. One of the best things I have ever purchased.

Wax is poor, 10 Mar. 2014
When ordering this item I checked that bees wax would be supplied. However the wax in the roller is, I believe, some form of sugar wax and appears to go into a white powder and doesn't leave any sticky residue, but it was painless. Perhaps this would suit some people, but not me. This product did not remove the hair from the roots as I required, but snapped the hair. For 20 years I have used bees wax and had excellent results, leaving me hair-free for several months. This product is not to my liking or standards.
