I have bought four of these refill gas cells to use with my Braun styler. Previously I have always used Braun 25ml/14g cells.I have attempted to use two of the Liquid Energy cells with the styler. With the first one, using the switch on the styler did not turn the gas off satisfatorily. Gas was still escaping! The second cell was of a slightly wider diameter and had to be forced into the styler.Whilst the cells work in the styler I shall not be using them because I feel the quality is poor and I am concerned about safety.

I scaled the chemists and shops for original Braun gas cells for my Braun styler without any success. Eventually bought the Liquid Energy universal refill gas cells and have found that they are substandard and performance wise useless.Gas keeps emitting when the appliance is turned off and the ignition function is frustrating to say the least.I would not buy them again and feel I have wasted my money and certainly would not encourage any one to buy them. What is Braun doing to their customers in not supplying original gas cells is it to make appliances obsoleteso we buy new appliances?

Liquid Energy Braun This new replacement gas cartridge is not as efficient as the old type. It takes at least 6 ignitions before tongs heat up. I dont think I would recommend this item to another person.I would think about purchasing new tongs, definately not Braun. Braun have made a big mistake with this product.
